Mindfulness by Design - Sydney
This conference is designed to meet the needs of school leaders focusing on developing a mindful school culture with Habits of Mind.
Program
9am - 3:30 each day
Extensive collaborative and generative activities as well as presentations designed to meet the conference goals as described in the flier attached below.
4pm - 5:30 day 1 and 2
The first two days will conclude with presentations by experienced schools and others who will share their knowledge and expertise with the group.
Additionally there will be displays of artifacts and materials from participating schools and others to browse throughout the conference.
The conference will conclude at approximately 4pm on the Wednesday 4th of November.
(there will be a short break on Tuesday 3rd of November for the running of the Melbourne Cup!)
Special Presentations
In addition to the work lead by James Anderson and Art Costa, each day will conclude with some presentations from schools and others with experiences leading with the Habits of Mind. The final list of presenters is still being negotiated. Please check back soon for more information.

Costs
All costs on this page are in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS
The cost per person is $600 which covers all three days, including workshop materials, meals and refreshments during the conference. A minimum of two people are required to attend from each school. Discounts for larger teams are possible - please contact james@mindfulbydesign.com for more information.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available at the conference venue
FUNCTION RATES:
Rooms: $150.00 per room per night, room only (single/twin)
Rooms: $165.00 per room per night, inclusive of one breakfast
These rooms are limited and available at this rate only until October 1st. You must mention the Mindfulness by Design Conference when booking to receive these rates.
Conference Dinner
A conference dinner will be offered to all participants for Tuesday 3rd of November. This will be an optional social event at a small additional cost to participants.
Limited Numbers
The conference relies on building a collaborative learning community. As a result numbers will be limited. Registrations are on a first in basis.
Online Registration
Registration for this event is done online. Payment is NOT required at time of booking and you do not need to know the details of all participants at time of booking.
An invoice will be generated after you check out and you will have the option of electing to pay by direct debit, or cheque. To register, simply click on the "Add to Cart" button below and proceed through the check out process.
